Renewing a Premium Wellness Environment
B WELL SYSTEMS completed the refurbishment of an existing commercial sauna at Eden One Spa in Dublin, restoring the interior while upgrading key elements for durability, appearance and the demands of a high-use wellness environment.
Rather than replacing the entire sauna, the project focused on preserving and restoring what could be retained while renewing the elements that required improvement.
Bringing the Existing Timber Back to Life
The existing sauna wall finishes were carefully sanded and refinished using a specialist non-toxic paraffin oil, restoring the warmth and appearance of the timber while retaining the existing structure.
Built for a Demanding Commercial Environment
The existing benches were replaced with new custom-built Accoya timber seating, introducing a clean contemporary finish while responding to the practical demands of a commercial spa environment.
Repairing the Space, Refining the Experience
The refurbishment also included ceiling repairs and upgraded integrated lighting.
The lighting was introduced to complement the warm timber interior and create a more considered, contemporary sauna environment.
